April 2024 - SELECTED ARTFORM DUNMORE EAST BUCOLICA OPEN CALL EXHIBITION AT MOUNT CONGREVE GARDENS 

Delighted that Artform Dunmore East and selectors Anne Ryan and Melissa O'Donnell have included my oil painting “Long Shadows” in the Bucolica Open Call Exhibition which opens tomorrow Thursday 2 May 6-9pm in Mount Congreve Gardens Co. Waterford (@mountcongreve). The exhibition will run throughout the summer months. The show opening is part of a May Bank Holiday event ‘Art in the Gardens’, and it marks the launch of a new collaboration between Mount Congreve Gardens and Artform, aimed at celebrating visual art in the outstanding gardens all year round.


March 2024 - SELECTED FOR KILKENNY PORTRAIT SHOW 16 MAR-13 APR 24

I am delighted to be one of 85 artists selected by renowned artist Blaise Smith RHA to exhibit in the Kilkenny Portrait Show which will be on exhibit at An Chead Tine Gallery in the heart of Kilkenny City from 16 March to 13 April 2024.


Feb 2024 - PRINT MENTORING WITH AILBHE BARRETT AT GRAPHIC STUDIO DUBLIN

I was so delighted to spend a few days learning from master printmaker Ailbhe Barrett at Graphic Studio Dublin during February. The mentorship allowed me to learn the art of carborundum printmaking under the expert guidance of Ailbhe. I am excited to continue my printmaking journey at Graphic Studio Dublin in the near future.

DLRARTS OFFICE EMERGING ARTIST BURSARY 2023 

>> Elizabeth Hogan awarded Emerging Artist Bursary 2023 from DLRArts Office. The bursary will enable Elizabeth to produce a new body of work as well as further her professional development in visual arts practice.

About Elizabeth

Elizabeth Hogan is a Dublin-based Visual Artist known for her evocative paintings, prints and drawings.


Her work is regularly showcased in group exhibitions across Ireland and has been selected for prestigious events such as the Royal Hibernian Academy and Royal Ulster Academy Annual Exhibitions. Her work is also featured in various regional art events and has been acquired by Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council for their County Collection. 


Elizabeth's artistic vision is deeply rooted in the surrounding landscape, capturing atmospheric moments in everyday life that resonate with her audience. Drawing inspiration from the quiet beauty of ordinary scenes, her art evokes a sense of familiarity for the viewer.


She holds a Distinction in Mentored Painting from the Royal Hibernian Academy and a Distinction in Art, Craft, and Design from BIFE.


She is a professional member of Visual Artists Ireland (VAI).
